    No signal on monitor
    « on: July 23, 2015, 02:59:00 PM »
    Ok i have an
    I7 4790
    asrock fatal1ty z97
    dual channel ddr3 8gb g.skill
    1tb WD hdd
    650W continuous psu
    NO gpu yet
an acer led/lcd monitor (hdmi, vga, dvi)
    and a Thor tower.
the mobo has a displayport and hdmi. No vga or dvi ports. So I got all components in the case mounted. I turned it on and it all seemed to be working but when I tried to see splash logo on monitor I had a no signal with hdmi. Is the mobo trying to use the display unless I manually change it in bios (which I canT see.

Ok sorry, apparently it was as simple as the order that I turned things on...
