    Current Tabs file corrupted?
    « on: August 21, 2015, 10:10:53 PM »
Hi. I've been having trouble lately, my laptop freezes completely and randomly if (and so far only if) I'm online. I use Windows Vista and Google Chrome. This started last time I updated my free AVG, didn't happen before.
Just in case, I scanned my C disc for viruses and found nothing, but it said that the file Current Tabs from Chrome is corrupted. I don't think it has anything to do with my problem, but what happens if I remove it? Can it be done, can it be replaced? Does it replace itself on use?
Can this file fail have anything to do with the fact that I downloaded Firefox just to see if Chrome was the problem and I imported everything included bookmarks? It froze with Firefox too, but if the problem is on that file and it was imported to it, maybe it can be fixed.
I don't know, I'm lost. I don't think it has anything to do with the laptop's temperature.
    Thank you for any help.
