MY COMPUTER WON'T TURN ON!!!

Ok, my tower will not turn on. My monitor turns on fine, but when I hit the power button on thetower, no lights, nothing happens. I have checked the power cord, and it is plugged in fine. CAN ANYONE HELP???!!!!

On the rear of the tower next to the PSU plug you will see two switches. The RED one sets what voltage you need :110 if you are in the States.
The second switch is a power switch and should be in the up position
Now try the switch on the front of the tower.
Also plug something you know that works into the same outlet the tower is plugged into to make sure you have not tripped a breaker/fuse.

    When you say nothing happens, does this include no fans running.

    If the above doesnt work, have you got another power supply unit you could try.
