Ativa Monitor
« on: October 04, 2016, 01:48:12 PM »
My Monitor only gets a signal if I turn it on before turning on the Computer. It's never happened before and I can't find any setting that applies to this issue in Bios or Monitor Menu. Any Idea's are appreciated.

Thank You
John

Do you hear any beep codes when the computer starts up? If not, your PC may not even be POSTing. The issue may not be with your monitor. If you have another monitor (or even most newer TVs would work), connect that to test the video output.

No beeps. It'seems as if the PC can't see the monitor unless I turn it on first. I did have my TV connected for a short period as a second monitor but recently disconnected it.  Thanks for replying.
