Hello, ran into someone in the hall and they had this problem. They paid for Office and got it installed on their Surface. Then they paid for Visio and tried to install it. Got an error that they could not install the 32bit version as there were 64bit components on the machine. Tried removing Office and installing Visio and got the same error. I don't think he had the option of 32 or 64, and he is getting frustrated. On top of that, we went back to the third party vendor for help or a refund on the price of Visio and they said he had to go to Microsoft.

Is there something we are missing?

    Thanks for your help

The 3rd party vendor is ripping your buddy off...not once...but twice.

Visio is a flow charting / diagramming app from Microsoft. It is "related" to Office.
