    « on: February 19, 2018, 12:44:55 PM »
    hello,

the contents of my START MENU are gone.
i turned it off one night and when i turned it on the next day the files (programs?)
had disappeared - nothing in the box.

can it be brought back ?  (win 7 pro)

    thank you.

    See Here...

If no joy-joy try a Dyatem restore from Control Panel...

leave it to PATIO to use descriptive verbs !
      a dyatem reimage...
but PATIO, i can't get the reimage point to go far enough into the past to make it work.

      thank you for your help.

ALLAN, i may not be the present day ada lovelace, but i got his point.
it is amazing what you can learn by using the internet.  i did not understand the word usage
but i spent a couple hours attempting to grasp the meaning of dyatem and you know how it
goes - bouncing around out there.  i found some really entertaing sites and almost forgot what
i was supposed to be doing.   :) :D
and a thank you to you, ALLAN.
i have a question for you.  does this site still notify people who are hoping for an answer via email ?
