Apple Foldable iPhone. Really?

(1/2) > >>

Geek-9pm:
Apple claims they have solved the Folding Phone Problem.
It has been just now reported that they have a US patent to make an invisible fold.
Really? Believe if you see it. Maybe.

Movable flaps would prevent unsightly marks by keeping the device in a semi-curved state when shut.

Stop with the News updates already...many of your sources are lame at best.

Engineer.AI:
I mean, we really WANT a foldable phone comeback, but I really don't think a foldable smartphone would be the solution. Samsung already tried it and failed. Apple, the plagiarist, is already on the drawing board with the same.

Battycatter:
Yeah, I think the technology will need to advance for a few more years before a foldable phone to be a success.

steve17:
Most foldable hones don't work the way they are supposedto. The screen often breaks after a while and users aren't very happy. Even if apple solved the problem of screens breaking i don't think ther is demand for the kinds of foldable phones that we are able of producing right now...
