laptop wont turn on

my laptop worked fine. i left the house and came back and the laptop was off. i try to turn it on and nothing. the light turns green when i unplug the ac power from it and then goes yellow, to standby. well i left it on the charger over night and now it is staying green but still wont turn on, please advise.

Have you tried the reset button? Usually a small resessed switch you operate with a ball pen.
If that doesn't bring it back to life, remove battery for 10 minutes, then refit.
