hard drive shows 14G available but should show 25
« on: February 09, 2006, 01:55:24 PM »
Hi

I have a 40Gb hard drive, it has 15gb of programmes, files etc on it so it should show 25Gb fee, but it only shows ~14Gb free. How can I find out whats in the extra disc space if anything (its not hidden files, had a look at those).

Or how can I recover the space so it shows correct free space.

40gb hard drive, running winXp home.

Cheers

Here is good link for you maybe from old member.

Have a look on your disc manager to see if you have recovery partition, maybe fat32.

Glad to see there remains sth good in you... :-/

      Ignoring is not reasonable...

You should give a chance to say privately and not to waste others time reading what is not a bit for them...different from you
