Problem with all my games

Whenever I play any games on my computer i after a little while my screen turns into all differnt colours, i can still hear all of the sounds of the games but the screen changes.

For example, when i play my NHL game as soon as i finish a game the problem with the screen occurs, and with my torino 2006 game as soon as i finish a race of anyking the problem with the screen occurs.

This hasent always happend though, all my games would run perfectly fine.

And I dont know if this is related to my gaming problem, but sometimes a little box comes up asking me if i want to turn off or stand by and what not.

So if any of you guys have any ideas please reply.

Maybe you could try to run dxdiag, an excellent tool to see if there is any problem with direct draw or direct 3D.

It helped me when I had problems with Halo.

Also, if you have recently installed an old computer game, you may think about uninstalling it. Maybe you have troubles with old drivers. In that case, update them.

Try running a Disk Defrag if you have been doing a share of installing/uninstalling recently. What changes have you made to your system recently anyway?
