sound through headphone/speakers

hi all, basically what im trying to do, is get it so that i can play music through headphones, and another song through the speakers, for a program called Virtual DJ.

i have the defualt soundcard in the motherboard, and i have a spare sound card, but would the PC be able to recognise 2 cards, becuase it sets one to default, is there any way i can achieve the above?

If you were able to, only one would be able to be used at once.

if you are going to be using something like Virtual DJ, though, you might want to use the better of the two cards.

well it isnt much use without being able to listen to both tunes, i know theres a way, i just dunn now  :-/
