I need help on upgrades

i currently have and AMD-K6/233mhz processor and i am planning to make an upgrade. will i be able to upgrade my processor to AMD athlon 64???

Only if your mainboard supports 64BIT technology. If it does not, the processor will most likely not function.

Refer to your guide to see what your mainboard is compatible of using.

Not even close!  You're looking several generations of processor ahead, you'll need a new MB, and new RAM at a minimum.
