I'm creating a GPO for a group of users that only need to be able to browse the Internet. Everything seems to be working fine, i.e. the locked down parts of the policy (basically everything) are working fine. The only thing that isn't working is the desktop redirection. I'm redirecting allof the user's desktops to a folder on an unused server drive. That folder is read only so that the users can't save anything to it. The problem is that the desktops don't redirect. The rest of the policy applies fine. I've tried setting the policy to be "enforced" but that didn't help.
Settings:
Basic - Redirect everyone to the same location
Target: Redirect to the following location
Target folder is a UNC path to the generic desktop
Any ideas?
