Lost disk space
« on: June 02, 2006, 12:01:34 PM »
When performing system restore, I find that I have lost about 2Gb of disk space when my PC restarts.
Can you tell me how I can go about reclaiming this lost space?

Can you think of anything that might account for that change in drive space?  Such a change, merely due to System Restore, seems odd.

Anyway, why not use Windows Disk Cleanup tool and see where you stand?  If you want to try some other cleanup tool, I suggest CCleaner.

How do you figure you lost 2 gigs of disk space? THere are some computational issues you may not be aware of.  ;)

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.
