cmos battery

Hey,just replaced cmos battery and now computer wont boot,no beep,
no bios nothing.all fans are running fine.
amd 1800+
1gb ram
fic 37 mb
80gb maxtor hd
gforce 256 mb video card
ps-no keyboard or mouse
please help,thanks in advance

What caused you to change the battery? Did you touch anything else while in there? Is it in securely and correctly? If not careful there is a 50% probability that it is in upside down.  ;)

also, the battery may be dead, sometimes they wont recharge when they go dead
