Fan(s) Error on Dell Inspiron 2500
« on: June 24, 2006, 12:35:25 AM »
I'm trying to fix my grandmother's Dell Inspiron 2500 Laptop, it says Fan(s) Error when booting and then shuts down or doesn't boot up. It allows me to push F2 and enter setup, but that doesn't do anything. I took it to computer repair and they put in a new fan and checked the fan sensors and still nothing. They told me it was a bad hard drive, and I just put in a new hard drive and it still does the same thing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks!!!! :-? :-?

Maybe a post in the Dell support forums for that model?
