can i set up dual monitors in ubuntu linux?

i hae dual monitors in win xp, but i have no clue how to set it up in linux. if anyone knows anything about this, please tell me, one monitor sucks

Have you tried just plugging two in during the install? You might be surprised.

yes... i have tryed that... the second one never gets unplugged from my system, i turn it on, and it goes into stand by
