Home Design Software (free)

I am looking for some home design software for free, but haven't found any.

I need something that will let my recreate a room and possible render lighting against textures and objects.

I did a www.download.com search, but didn't get the results I wanted...

Any ideas?

There was a reason I didnt use google. I dont like downloading .exe apps from websites I dont know. I'll try it anyways. Thanks

Well, to tell you the truth, I have used that software before, a LONG time ago.
I tried it out, but it wasn't quite what I was looking for...

Oh dear, how sad...

I Google searched on 'free home design software' and Google came back with 491,000,000 hits tho' not all are free.  Maybe you could browse some of the hits and pick one to suit your purposes.  Also you might like to modify the Google search and try again.

DataBecker were at one time giving away 3D Apartment Designer.  You might be able to find it out there somewhere.
