Help on how to change file types

I would really love it if some one would give me step by step instructions on how to change a files types. and just not their exentions. I need to know how to turn a VRO file in a MOV file.

The Eisiest and not the smart way of doing it is.. Open my computer.. and at the top go to Tools and select Folder Options and select   the View Tab and then find the check box that says "Hide Extensions for known file types" you need to uncheck that option and then go to your file that Right click on the mouse and select the Rename and then just change the file extension.. for example..

Origional File: Baraborn.vro
Changed File: Barbaron.mov
and click enter..and it the file name changes.. sometime it works. and sometimes it doesnt.. so its a fifty fifty chance..

Don't know of any free prog which will do that but:

Step 1.  Prepare to part with a few dollars ($30 or so)
Step 2.  Google for 'convert vro to mov'
Step 3.  Select a suitable download site from 32,000.
Step 4.  Pay your dollars and download a chunk of software.
Step 5.  Install and run the software.
