Laser Mouse
« on: September 12, 2006, 05:17:13 AM »
I have recently connected up a new wireless laser mouse, but it has massive responsiveness.
I can edit the setting through my control panel, so it works fine once i've signed into my account, but on the welcome screen it is far too reponsive to se easily.
I am wondering whether it is possible to lower the setting, so it does not move too quickly.

put some "old" batteries in the mouse to slow it down.....

What operating system are you using?  Have you tried logging into the Adminstrator account (using Safe Boot if necessary)?
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.

I use windows xp with sp2
I can log into an adminstrator account, and change settings, but if i go back to the welcome screen, the mouse still moves incredibly fast.

Even though it's new I'd check the manufacturer's site for any updated drivers.  Just because it's out of the box new doesn't mean there haven't been issues to address since it was made.
