can i run dual monitors if...

..if my video card has a vga and a dvi output? how would i do that? my video card is  geforce 6800gs and i got the lil adapter plug to make the dvi a vga output.

Unless the card supports dual monitors i'm afraid it's one or the other...check your vid card documentation...
