Minimze document within Word
« on: October 11, 2006, 11:17:39 AM »
How do I minimize a document within Word the old way?  I would like to manage my documents within Word rather than on the task bar.

See attached for examples.

Thank you.

This facility was removed from later versions of Word.  There is a hack somewhere, but it doesn't work very well I'm afraid...  Google for "MDI tweak Word 2000" (or whatever).

Thanks man.

That is BS that they don't give you the option to revert back to the old way.  The new way is terrible!!!! >:( >:( >:( >:(

OpenOffice seems to do that as well. I never thought of it as being absent..
