PLEASE HELP .....

This is the problem....I just got high speed internet hooked up and i'm trying to run my enternet.  It opens up for a bit and runs a little and then it shuts itself off and i'm back to the desktop.  Any suggestions would be helpful.  If anything I have a laptop and I believe it's windows 2000

I never had much successing running enternet either..
