Computer keeps shutting down.

Hi,

I need help!
Yesterday I installed a Radeon 9200SE 128MB AGP Card so I could play the Sims 2.
I also had to install DirectX 9.0c.
Everytime I go to play the Sims 2, when it goes to full screen mode the computer restarts its self.
I turned off automatically restart in the My Computer Properties thing and an error message came up when I tried to play instead of it shutting down.
It stated the following:
ati3duag.dll
Address: BFA1A8A7
Base at: BFA1A000
Datestamp: 3f627fb6

All help would be really appreciated!

Try re-installing those video drivers...something is corrupt.

I did that.
And I rang the computer shop where I brought it from but they were just rude!
Still not working.
Would DirectX be doing it?

    Did you install the latest drivers available from the manufacturer's website?

      Sorry i pulled that on second thought...what were the updates you DLoaded ? ?
      Go to Start / Run and type in dxdiag and hit Enter
      This will tell you what ver. you have...

        Google is showing a lot of hits with people having problems (ATI Vs Sims)

        Try Start>Run>dxdiag <enter> run all the tests.

          Run dxdiag and read the 1st line of the 1st page. ;)
