How do I know if my processor is bad?
« on: December 02, 2006, 07:58:21 PM »
I'm not having any trouble, so this is just a general question.  I was just wondering what the symptoms are if you have a bad processor.  Would it beep a certain way?  Would anything even come up on the screen?

Would the symptoms be the same for an uncompatible processor?

Thanks,

    uncompatible??

    1. it wont turn on

thats it if the CPU doesnt work in the comp
    1. it wont fit or
    2. it blown and its HARD to hurt a CPU so its broken but still works
99% of the time its either Dead or Alive

there are no real symptoms because if somethings worng with teh CPU EVERYTHING will act funny inclcuding keyboard letters and stuff
