thank for the reply..... what happen is that i upgrade my os from 98se to xp. before the set up of the drive in bios is something 16 thousand for the cylinder and others also has values and i change it all to 0. then restart and the next message is "cannot open multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS "
