Adding  shortcut  icons

Is that possible to add  shortcut icons to page as a button on my browser.I can add shortcut icons to page  on my desktop  but i want to know is that possible to add it on my browser. I have using internet explorer 6

    YA
    1. open up IE and then click
    Veiw>toolbars>links
    2. A links bar should not appear with the rest of you toolbars.
    3. You can now yo to a web page.
    4. On the very left of the address bar you should see an icon for that page or the IE icon.
    5. Drag that icon to the links bar and presto.

    NOTE: You may also save a web page as a favorite and then in the favorite's lisk drag it into the folder called"Links"
