changing "program access and defaults" problem
« on: December 20, 2006, 09:46:19 AM »
I can't change the program access and defaults. I am logged on as an administrator. I change the defaults, and hit OK. I get no error message, just no change after a reboot.

Need more information. Also would help if you list your system specs. :D

Computers are the future, not us. Learn everything you can about them while you still can, soon they will be learning about us... Every bit of advice that I give you is best guess, it is your choice whether or not you listen to it.

Although knowledge of your OS would be useful (I assume XP), your system specs aren't really that relevent to the problem.

What program settings are you trying to change (browser? etc) and to what are you changing them (Firefox etc)?

Did your computer come pre-installed with Windows and "stuff"? The company may have made their own custom settings, but I don't see why you can't change them.
