Stuck on load screen on BF2
« on: January 05, 2007, 03:55:42 PM »
If you remember me i just installed my new parts, and i reinstalled windows, all my games, and the  other programs i used to have.  But now when i start BF2, it just sits there one the loading screen, the one that is a rectangle and says Battlefield 2 on it, and has a background image of a tank and some other stuff.  I was able to play it before, that was with a Celeron D processor, and a 5700 nvidia graphics card.  Shouldnt it still work with the new AMD and 7300 GT graphics card?

Do you mean the menu loading screen or the loading screen for starting an actual level?

Make sure your drivers are all up to date etc etc.

he meant the game startup screen, you know, the shameless 3-5 seconds of self-promotion before the game actually starts.

Brin, when you started the game, which startup icon did you select?

      A) Play Battlefield 2
      B) Play BF2 Online Now!

On easy info everything is a check except the Display Device, which is a Nvidia Geforce 7300 Gt, and it has an white like bubble that'd you would c in comic books, and a blue i.  Also there is one on the Display Driver, which is 6.14.10.9371.
