checking deleted files
« on: January 22, 2007, 08:20:47 AM »
I let a friend of mine borrow my new computer for a week and when I got it back Norton Anti-Virus said there was a 2 problems and it hasn't been working right since. I checked the history but it had been cleared and he had installed limewire. Someone told me there was a way to check files even though they had been deleted, like they are still on the hard drive. I don't know if he had been using it to look at porn or something and will that mess up my computer. Thank you
Brenda

List all the protection programs you have on that machine except Norton's...

No one program catches all the baddies out in the wild and we can give you some excellent suggestions...mostly free.
