Would anyone like to explain their purpose and how to use them?

    I appreciate your time.

    Bittorrent on Wikipedia.
And we did have a thread about this somewhere, I'll post a link if I find it.

WillyW, you were in that thread as I recall.
Do you know where it is?
I appear to have lost it.
    Nice find by the way.

    It does seem somewhat familiar.

Just did a search.   For my name and "torrent".   Didn't find it.
You searched and couldn't find it too?

Sometimes forum search engines don't find what I'm looking for even when it really is there... could be operator error.

    Wait - -

    Was it in PMs ?

You asked me something about Linux Live CDs and we got to talking about using bit torrents to d/l them.
I think we compared d/l speeds, because I wondered if I had mine configured properly.

    Does that ring a bell?

I find that it's hard to find things I want on forums, it doesn't seem to search very far back.

      That's right.
However, there was a thread about it as well, I assumed you'd got the idea to download uTorrent from that thread after you got involved with it.
You definitely posted in it anyway.
