Windows Missing Fonts?
« on: January 30, 2007, 03:31:34 PM »
Hey guys I'm doing a lot of design on my computer and I use a font manager. I think that in the process of activating/deactivating I must have done something wrong and killed a system font. Some programs have a weird font, or some dialog boxes don't look right.

I've attached an example of what I mean

SPECS:

Windows XP SP2
2.0GHZ ATHLONXP2400
80GB HD
128MB integrated video card
1.5GB Ram

Mostly seems ok here.  Can you post something that's wrong then show what it should look like :-?

Go to Start / Run and type in sfc /scannow....have your XP CD handy as it will ask for it.

This will repair/replace any system files that have gotten wonked.
