VIEWING WINDOWS EXPLORER THUMBNAILS
« on: February 11, 2007, 11:48:38 AM »
I have windows 2000. When in Windows Explorer I used to be able to view my photos by changing the setting to Thumbnails. Now, I can only view older photos that are in my folders. I had to download Kodak EasyShare to be able to retrieve photos from my digital camera. Is it the EasyShare that is causing me problems?

It used to be fine, then you loaded some software and now it doesn't work? You may have answered your own question.  ;)

I thought so, too. So I unloaded it & I still could not view my photos. And I could not retrieve my digital photos, so... I gave up & reinstalled it.

EasyShare software is a nightmare waiting to happen...just my opinion.

Why do you say that? I liked what I was using before - Kodak Picture software. But, for some reason it quick working to retrieve my photos & I was told that they discontinued it. If I remove the EasyShare software & can find a different way to retrieve my photos from my camera, do you think I will be able to view photos in Explorer again?

Any suggestions you have will be very welcome.

Thank you!

Problem solved!!! I uninstalled the program again. I worked out a different method of retrieving my photos. Everything now works as it should! I'll be sure not to download EasyShare again!  ;)
