Any idea which program will open this file?
« on: March 01, 2007, 12:39:20 PM »
The files are schedules or programme type files.  I thought it may have been Microsoft Project that opened it however i tried today (microsoft project 1998 anyway) and it doesnt open the files.  Anyone got any other suggestions for programs that may open the files. :(
I assume the pp file is the critical one and the other files are just backing up that file

Here is one folder which has the files in it that i need opened.
ignore the diagram on the pp file as i tried to open it with loads of programs but didnt work and the image is of the last program that i tried to open it with, just

You could try Notepad but if they are graphic files it will just look like gibberish.

Or ..... how about sending a Email to a supervisor..... If it's all that important then your boss should be happy to get the info for you .

      Could it be this?

Here's an extension site, I got that company from the fourth one.  Seemed to make the most sense.

        Thought you may be interested...

        For PP extensions:

        For TIX extensions:

        http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=TIX

It looks like if you had the divX player installed, you may be able to open the main file.

        Good luck!

.pp is the file extension for the Compressed Amiga archive file associated with POWERPACKER.

.old is Typically used as an indicator for a backup copy of a file; appended to the filename when a newer version of the file has been created or saved by a certain program; often placed after the orginal file suffix (i.e. document.doc.old would be a backup copy of the file "document.doc").
May be created automatically by a software program, but may also be created manually by the user.

.bak This file is a backup copy of another file.

        .tix is a divx file
