Emulator Problems
« on: March 20, 2007, 11:54:45 AM »
Hi guys I downloaded some roms and try it but in one of my downloads there was an error.

The error says: Can't open. No known good dump.

What does the dump mean? Is this the same as physical dumping? Also what is the meaning of DUMP in programming, is it a program?

And when there is a physical dump, is it dangerous? Does the computer being damage when this happens?

Sorry for the many questions, I google it but some are very technical and some can lead to nowhere can anyone explain this in simple english. Thank you. :) ;) :D ;D :o 8-) ::) :P :-? :-[

You probably just downloaded a bad ROM.  They're not always reliable.  Nor are they always trustworthy...

Ok so dump is just an error nothing more? So when there is a physical dump it is an error on either hardware or software the same with "No known good dump"? If this is what you mean I'll put it my notes. Thank you :) ;) :D ;D :o 8-) :-? ::) :P
