drivers for a usb acer cdrw

Hello everyone,
                         I have an acer cdrw drive that work from my usb port. The model number is: 6406EU-102 it came with no disks.A friend found it at a yard sale and thought i would have use for it. Yes i could use it but can't find drivers for it. I'm running windows xp pro sp2, 512 mem and a 200 gig hd on a dell optiplex gx150.I have been to the acer site and have had difficulty navigating through the site and still have found no drivers.I have even used the found new hardware wizard to no avail.Can someone point me in the right direction to find the drives for this. i would appreciate it alot.Have been looking all day for it.

Why do you think drivers are the issue at all? What does it do or not do? Try it on another machine. If it doesn't work there either, you may have bought a doorstop.

hi guys,sorry it took so long to answer been hectic at home and work this time of year.But all is well and my acer cdrw drive is right as rain drivers were install and got it running.Thanks for all your help. I always knowwhere to come to get the help i need.
