hello
after turning my computer on yesterday i found it took longer for the personal settings to load and when they did load only program files were present. all of my documents/music/photos etc were missing and whenever i opened a piece of software it came up with a screen saying things like "first time using opera" or stuff like that as if im going on them for the first time (which i aren't)
when i go on search i can find all of my original stuff but simply copying everything back across doesnt work as when i restart the computer later on it is all gone again.
its as if all of my computer "personality" (bit of a weird way of describing it) has gone.
any help is very much appreciated!
