    hard disk partition

    still i have 4 partition in my hard disk ,but i want it now 2 without any format ,is it possible, if not, how can i do it

    Do you mean you want to have only 2 partitions instead of 4?

    Changing /switching partitions around after the fact...that is after an OS and data are there can wind up a real mess with the potential of lost data or an unmountable boot volume.

    What exactly are you wanting to do with re-sizing and why ?

    There may be better options available.
