Issue with my Hard Drive Free Space in WinXP SP2!!!!
    « on: July 04, 2007, 01:06:13 PM »
Hi, I have a clue about my hard drive's free space in WinXP SP2, because the hard drive settings shows that the HD has 7% of free space, but I have been check all the files and folders (Including root folders and files) and I don't see the reason why it show me this info, my HD have 80 Gb of capability..

Do you know any software that I could use to check this issue?

Is it another bug of WinXP?

    Please Help me!

    Sincerely

Do you mean your hard drive is 80 GB in size, or that you think it has 80 GB free space?

Well, I'm sure that the Hard Drive is 80 Gb of capability, because this is the informatios that the system shows me, and the HD sticker say the same info. Two weeks ago the HD's free space was in 30 Gb. From this date to rigth now I haven't save or load any long file or same things.

I think that I could format the HD and reinstall WXP...

That's a bit drastic at this stage.
