trouble unistalling adobe creative suite
« on: July 10, 2007, 02:07:13 PM »
I had adobe creative suite 3 on my computer and my brother decided to unistall it but instead of unistalling it through add and remove programs he just deleted the files he could find. I have windows xp SP2 and now i want to unistall adobe completely cause i always get error msgs cause of it. But everytime i go to add and remove programs and try to uninstall whats left i get error saying that adobe setup needs to close. I asume the instalation file is gone so it can't uninstall but i don't have the dvd anymore so i can't get the file. I really need help with this please i run my own online business and this is really hurting me I can even reinstall windows and i explain this in another question under windows theis is the link http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,38799.0.html

Did you mean you can NOT reinstall windows?

I suggest you download CCleaner from here.  Try using it's Uninstaller, under Tools, to remove adobe creative suite.  It may not work, either.

Also, run CCleaner's Windows scan and Issues Scan.
