Asus crosshair problem
« on: July 31, 2007, 03:06:26 PM »
When my electric goes out or I turn off my surge protector apparently my cmos battery dies and it says that my cpu has been changed (this is what it says when I start up the computer after) ??? It's did this 2 times with 2 different battery's that I know are good. The thing is tho, it doesn't fix itself as soon as i change the battery or take it out. After I change the battery it gives me problems with my ram and I have to take out my ram and let it do the start up test on it, then I'm able to put my other 2 gigs in and test them. Sometimes it wont even give me a display, everything turns on, fans, etc but I have no display and I'm not sure what the F is happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
