    Toshiba satellite 18xx series bios update

    Can it be possible i update my Toshiba Satellite 1800 laptop BIOS.Please suggest a solution on how to do it.

    Why do you need to update the BIOS ?

      i need to update it because i think it will help improve my laptop performance.and in run compile java codes on the laptop.

      It won't do either of these things...matter of fact you are likely to create a doorstop with the wrong flash...

        Yeah BIOS updates are usually issued for fixing problems, so if you're not experiencing any problems there aren't much point in updating it.

        But if really want to upgrade it you'll need to find instructions (and a BIOS upgrade) from Toshiba since the procedure can vary.
        Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
