    IE Lags when scrolling down or up pages.

    Hey, Recently i reformatted my computer and decided to get rid of windows vista and start again with windows xp. I installed everything well and their was no errors. But after i had installed XP whenever i want to scroll down a webpage it seems to go down in sections and doesn't scroll smoothly. I have googled my error and i couldn't find a good answer to my problem. I have tried scrolling with scroll lock on and off. and have even tried using a different browser eg. Opera. But the same thing still happens. Any help would be appreciated.

    Did you re-install your mouse drivers after the wipe ? ?
    Also check the settings for it in Control Panel...

      No i didn't install the drivers. I'm downloading them now. I'll reply if it works or not after i installed them.

        Nope, Still doesn't seem to solve the problem. When i try to move a window for example, Task manager. That doesn't seem to move smoothly, It seems to skip around. Any help?

          Sounds like you're missing a graphics driver. Have you installed your graphics card driver after the reinstall?

            Nope, I think it was already installed but that was the 'Vista' version. I may have to download the xp version but i can't remember my graphics card name. I know its Nvidia Geforce and thats it. How do i find out what type it is?

              Doesn't matter, I found out which one, thanks to my amazing memory xD (Sense the sarcasm) and it now works really well, Thanks to everyone that helped. Theres no doubt i'll be back with more problems some day. Thanks to the great community.
