Does anyone know the excel keyboard shortcut for the format painter function?

    Try going into the help window and search for keyboard shortcuts

    Thanks, I tried that idea but they don't seem to have a keyboard shortcut for this function.  I know most of the other shortcuts but this is the only one I don't know.

      I believe there is no keyboard shortcut for it.  Many things on Excel's main menu have keyboard shortcuts, as indicated by a letter in the menu item name being underlined.  For example, File has F underlined, indicating Alt + F is a keyboard shortcut for File.  That is not true for Format Painter.

      However, you could record a simply macro to start Format Painter and then assign a keyboard shortcut to the macro.
