Does the white part of the screen blank out part of the web page or does the whole page show in the other part of the screen? What web browser and version are you using - i.e. Internet Explorer 6/7?

Do you know how to do a screen grab and post it here?

Is there a little red cross in the corner of the white part?

Have you got adobe reader installed ?

Have you got flash player installed ?

Some websites need you to have this software to view their web pages fully.

Go to the top menu bar and select Help> then select >About Internet Explorer.

It will tell you what version you are using.

I am using the same version and have no problems so i am a bit stumped at present.

Is the blank part the same size regardless of the websites you visit?

What happens if after you visit a website this happens on if you then hit the refresh button?

The refresh button is usually in the top left hand corner and shows as a white rectangle with two green arrows in it. Or in the very top menu select view>refresh

tilynn has stated he is a newbie so I reckon it maybe a bit early to be introducing him to alternative browsers yet Spero - You "Hopeful levels" can jump the gun sometimes  :P

That is an unusual one tilynn - I will give it some thought over lunch. In the meantime someone else who may have seen this fault before may be along to offer further help or suggestions.
