Error message when trying to open email message in Outlook Inbox
« on: September 13, 2007, 09:33:46 AM »
I was working w/ my email earlier, and got an error message saying Outlook couldn't open the email message already in my Inbox, and that I should quit all email applications and restart Outlook. When I tried to do that, I got a message box saying,

"Outlook could not open the file containing the folders used to send and retrieve email messages, create appointments, and open the address book. Please select from the following options:
Create a new personal folders file
Open an existing personal folders file
   OK              Cancel"

I use Microsoft Office 2000 Professional, if that matters. Any ideas what to do? Thanks for any help! I don't want to have to reload Microsoft Office if I don't have to!

You are not the first to have this problem and it gives the solution.
