Hard drive not visible
« on: October 02, 2007, 09:25:57 AM »
A friend of mine recently got a new hard drive and asked me to install the OS. My problem is the BIOS see's the drive but when trying to install the OS there's nothing to install it to. No "c" drive.

Has the drive been partitioned and formatted?

One good deed is worth more than a year of good intentions.

How is the hard drive hooked up? Is it IDE or SATA?

What OS are you installing on it?
