So i needed to format my main drive and reinstall windows xp. Everything works until just after the install on the first boot and just after i put in my administrator password the system resets. i remember this happing before when i switched OS's from 2000 to XP. That time i ended up taking it in i remember there was a driver problem and i was given a CD witch i lost. would it be a driver problem because of the 2 processors and and if so how do i solve this?

I don't think it's that, it seems i have the newest one. would there be anything special about installing windows XP because of the 2 processors? Any help would be great.

A newsgroup feed mentioned lowering the HyperTransport setting in the BIOS to 800Mhz instead of the "automatic" setting...

Seems that board is a challenge to get running properly.
