Laptop Overheating
« on: November 09, 2007, 01:36:03 AM »
Hi Everyone,

My laptop is starting to overheat. I have cleaned the vent recently but not the inside of laptop. The fan on my laptop will start spinning and then quit. Is there a way to cool the laptop down?

Thank you.

(The AC adapter is near the fan, but not plugged in. It's becoming a real pain!)

What happens? The machine overheats and crashes?

Could the fan be worn out? Does the machine always overheat, or just when you do certain things?

Yes. Replace the fan.

And/or search google for laptop coolers.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.
