    « on: November 09, 2007, 08:44:30 AM »
Hi, can any-body please tell how to do a full system recovery I do not have the CD that came with the computer. The operating system is Windows XP Professional. I try using the CD that came with my children’s computer, also using the same operating system. But it did not work.  :(

...and it won't. Recovery CD will work only with the computer it came with.
You either buy full version Windows CD, or your can order Recovery CD from your computer maker.

Actually if you are able to borrow a Microsoft XPPro CD with SP2 you would be able to run a repair install of XP and retain your data and programs...
You would still be within the legal requirements put forth by Microsoft.
Let us know if this is an option.
